With the people’s agreement, record a small set of contacts and how to reach them. Include someone outside your household. Check the details with each person rather than copying an old list.
Keep an accessible copy
Store a paper copy somewhere known to the people involved. Avoid posting personal phone numbers or addresses on social media. Sharing a method does not require sharing personal information.
Agree in advance
Discuss meeting places and the situations in which you would use the plan. A plan works better when everyone knows what was agreed. Consult local official guidance and update the sheet when contact details change.
